What Happens During The Treatment?

The skin is cleaned and local anaesthetic cream is applied. After about 30 minutes, the skin is re- cleansed and the injections are administered with a very fine needle. Alternatively a blunt tip cannula is used whereby no local anaesthetic is required

Are There Any Side Effects?

As with any injection, you can expect your skin to be slightly red and swollen immediately after the procedure. You may experience pin prick bruises and some redness, itching and a warm feeling in the skin.

How Many Treatments Are Needed?

Depending on the skin condition severity, we normally advise 3 to 4 treatments spaced 3 weeks apart

Can They Be Used Alongside Other Treatments?

Yes, they can be used to “Prime” the skin prior to procedures eg microneedling, radiofrequency, dermal fillers and chemical peels to improve the results

Therefore, the best results are seen after about 3 months from starting your course of treatment.
