Restylane Injections

Restylane is hyaluronic acid, a naturally existing substance found in the subcutaneous tissue of the skin, giving it the fullness and youthful appearance. It is manufactured with the help of bacteria and injected in the subcutaneous tissue of the skin, filling out lines and wrinkles. As it is a naturally occurring molecule in the body, no allergy testing is necessary prior to treatment.

It is mainly used to treat the naso-labial folds (the creases running from the side of the nose to the corner of the mouth), lip lines, very deep frown lines and for lip contouring and enhancement. The effects of the injections lasts form 6-12 months. It is also useful to fill out deep scar tissue.
