Agera Products
The aging process occurs at both the
cellular and (total body) global level. No matter how
numerous the oral and/or topical antioxidants, vitamins
or mineral complexes used, you will continue to age.
This is caused by the gradual reduction in enzymatic
activity at the cellular level.
The use of oral and topical supplements
is highly recommended, however they only decrease the
effects of aging-they do not alter the fundamental process.
Intervention is the dermal aging process
should be specific. This means altering the reduced
responses of mature dermal cellular components to their
immediate environment.
Agera addresses the aging problem,
not just the symptoms.
Nanotechnology - Ten years
of research in dermal aging has resulted in the development
of nanotechnology where active ingredients are encapsulated
in minute particles that are dramatically smaller than
anything achieved before. Current research indicates
that only particles smaller than 600 nm are able to
pass through the outer layers of the skin. Until the
development of Agera, the smallest commercially available
particle was 1200 nm. Existing skincare ranges therefore
fail to penetrate any further than the outer layer of
the skin which may in part explain their limited impact
on the skin.
Lipid Based for excellent cell
penetration - Traditional skincare is based on water-soluble
materials that are not well absorbed by the skin, the
skin being a very effective barrier to water based products.
Agera nanoparticles are made from lipid based particles
rather than water thus ensuring that these products
move quickly and easily into the deeper layers of the
skin.
Agera products include growth peptides
that stimulate fibroblasts, encouraging the production
of collagen and elastin. The other active ingredients
include magnesium, high concentration of vitamin C and
other antioxidants including vitamin A and E and retinol
at much higher concentrations than available commercially.
The effects of Agera products are
usually in tandem with microdermarasion to further facilitate
the absorption of the products.
